Propuesta de evaluación de accesibilidad en videojuegos para personas con dificultades de manipulación y destreza manual

Los videojuegos se han convertido en los últimos años, en la preferencia de ocio por
delante del cine o la música. En materia de accesibilidad, se observan bastantes carencias
por parte de todas las ramas que componen la industria: desarrolladoras, distribuidoras,
departamentos de comunicación, etc. El propósito de este documento, ha sido indagar en la
situación actual para proponer una guía de recomendaciones de accesibilidad específica para
personas con dificultades de manipulación y destreza manual, tanto temporal como
permanente. Para ello, el autor se ha basado en la metodología de Diseño Centrado en el
Usuario (DCU) estableciendo cuales son las recomendaciones más importantes para los
propios jugadores. Los resultados arrojados han servido para realizar una evaluación experta
y comparativa de tres títulos actuales del mercado.

Video games have become in recent years, in the preference for free time, ahead of
film or music. In terms of accessibility, there are many scarcities by those who make up the
industry: developers, distributors, marketing, etc. The purpose of this document has been to
investigate the current situation to propose a guide of specific accessibility recommendations
for people with manual manipulation and skill difficulties, both temporary and permanent. For
do that possible, we have based on the User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies,
establishing what are the most important recommendations from the player view. The results
obtained have served to perform an expert and comparative evaluation of three current market
games.
