masterThesisResumen:
In this Final Thesis, six music pieces composed during the Master's Degree in Composition with New Technologies, are exposed and analysed. Those pieces are presented under their own evolutionary line towards a clear goal: to develop a personal compositional language halfway between classical / electroacoustic music and popular music.
With that purpose in mind, we reflect on the so-called term of Classical Crossover, a musical genre that gathers and merges elements of classical and popular music, as well as its evolution and social repercussions. However, what really brings together these two genres in the present work, are electroacoustic as a form of classical music alongside technological advances. Therefore, in the pieces presented here, we find an evolution that starts from the experimentation of sound and its subsequent application in the field of popular song.
