dc.descriptionAbstract. With the advent of platforms like Netflix, the television medium has undergone significant transformations. This study aims to analyze how the third season of Master of None challenges traditional norms of television seriality through the use of elements characteristic of auteur cinema, narrative catalysis, and the transcendental style. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, using specific tools to evaluate the syntactic and semantic dimensions of the season. The findings reveal that this season departs from the fundamental principles of television seriality by presenting intermittent central characters and settings, focusing on a single storyline, and predominantly employing narrative catalysis. Moreover, it prioritizes everyday life and transcendental themes, aligning more closely with auteur cinema than conventional television fiction. Thus, Master of None introduces an innovative narrative model that diverges from established conventions.es_ES
dc.description.abstractCon la llegada de plataformas como Netflix, el medio televisivo ha experimentado transformaciones significativas. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar cómo la tercera temporada de Master of None desafía las normas tradicionales de la serialidad televisiva mediante el uso de elementos propios del cine de autor, catálisis narrativa y el estilo trascendental. La investigación emplea una metodología mixta que combina análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo, utilizando herramientas específicas para evaluar las dimensiones sintácticas y semánticas de la temporada. Los resultados muestran que esta temporada rompe con los principios básicos de la serialidad televisiva al plantear personajes y espacios centrales intermitentes, centrarse en una única trama y emplear de forma predominante la catálisis narrativa. Además, prioriza la cotidianidad y cuestiones trascendentales, acercándose más al cine de autor que a la ficción televisiva convencional. Así, Master of Nonees_ES
