En un panorama de hibridación donde la edición digital ha superado en importancia a la impresa, se nos presenta este manual con un fuerte carácter técnico, presentando las características de la profesión de editor científico en la actualidad. El presente manual también es una lección de realidad para aquellos que piensan que la edición científica es algo fácil y asumible con pocos recursos. De hecho, muchas de las funciones y tareas que se explican en el manual son de reciente creación, lo que nos da una idea de que nos movemos en una profesión cambiante, uno de los motivos por los cuales este trabajo tiene tanto interés.es_ES
