Este trabajo recoge información relativa a un estudio para conocer si existe correlación entre la memoria visoespacial, la convergencia ocular y el control de la afinación en trombonistas que estudian grado elemental en la Región de Murcia.
Pretende revisar la relación entre los sistemas sensoriales auditivo y visual, centrándose en la memoria tonal, memoria visoespacial y movimientos oculomotores, así como en el papel que desempeñan en el aprendizaje de acciones motrices que intervienen en la práctica de un instrumento musical como es el trombón.
El estudio se realizó con 30 alumnos de trombón, de entre 8 y 14 años que cursaban grado elemental en los principales Conservatorios de Enseñanza Profesional de Música de la Región de Murcia.
Los instrumentos de medida utilizados fueron: el Test Figura Compleja de Rey, la prueba para evaluación del Punto Próximo de Convergencia y el programa de edición de audio digital y MIDI Cubase 5 para Microsoft Windows.
Los resultados muestran que no existe una correlación significativa entre las variables control de afinación y memoria visual, ni entre las variables control de afinación y convergencia ocular.

This paper contains information related to a study to learn the possible correlation between the visual-spatial memory, the ocular convergence and the control of tuning in trombonists who study the elementary degree on Music in the Region of Murcia.
It pretends to revise the relationship between the auditory and visual sensory systems, focusing on tonal memory, visual-spatial memory and oculomotor movements as well as on the role that they perform in the learning process of motor actions that take part in the practice of a musical instrument like the trombone.
The study was conducted on 30 trombone students aged from 8 to 14 years who study the elementary degree on Music in some of the main Consevatories of Professional Music Studies of the Region of Murcia.
The measuring instruments used were: the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test (Rey, 1980), the test to assess the Near Point of Convergence and the programme to edit the digital audio and MIDI Cubase 5 for Microsoft Windows.
Results show that there is neither a meaningful correlation between the control variables of tuning and visual memory nor between the control variables of tuning and ocular convergence.
