| dc.description | The present work analyses the different versions and uses of history in two television programs broadcasted during the Spanish political period called Transition: Tribuna de la Historia and La víspera de nuestro tiempo. The format, the selection of topics covered, the guests present in these spaces and their impact on the public debate through the press are evaluated. It shows that there was no historical amnesia in TVE during this period, on the contrary, through these programs, they attempted to provide an objective history that could make true the dialogue between experts from different approaches. It was avoided the documentary format used by Franco and it was chosen the colloquy between different positions, because not only the dissemination of a new history was pursued but also of a new political culture: there could be dialogue and debate on controversial issues, among discordant positions. History was used in this way to educate the Spanish in the new realities through the example of the past. When the Transition ended, this attempt lost interest and these programs disappeared. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Se analizan las versiones y usos de la historia en dos programas de televisión durante los años de la Transición política española: Tribuna de la Historia y La víspera de nuestro tiempo. Se valora el formato, la selección de temas abordados y los invitados presentes en estos espacios, así como su repercusión en el debate público a través de la prensa escrita. Se mostrará que en TVE no hubo amnesia histórica durante la Transición, todo lo contrario, a través de estos programas, se intentó ofrecer una historia objetiva que hiciera realidad el diálogo sobre el pasado entre expertos con diferentes enfoques. Se evitó el formato documental utilizado por el franquismo y se optó por el coloquio entre posturas diversas, porque no sólo se perseguía la difusión de una nueva historia sino también de una nueva cultura política: podía haber diálogo y debate sobre temas polémicos, entre posturas discordantes. La historia se utilizó de esta forma para educar a los españoles en las nuevas realidades a través del ejemplo del pasado. Con la Transición cerrada el intento perdió interés y estos programas desaparecieron. | es_ES |
