Relación entre la creatividad y las funciones ejecutivas en alumnos de Educación Infantil. Propuesta de intervención.

El objetivo de la presente investigación es proponer un programa de intervención
neuropsicológico para desarrollar la creatividad en un grupo de 30 alumnos de Educación
Infantil. Además se ha tratado de identificar si existe correlación entre el nivel de función
ejecutiva (asociada a la corteza prefrontal) y el nivel de creatividad en la muestra
estudiada. Para medir ambos constructos en la muestra analizada (con edades de 3 a 6
años) se empleó un cuestionario de creatividad y la tarea de “Simón dice”,
respectivamente. Para analizar la correlación se empleó estadística paramétrica,
concretamente el estadístico de correlación de Pearson. Los resultados encontrados
muestran que existe relación estadísticamente significativa positiva y alta entre ambas
variables (,880, p< ,001). Se propone un programa de intervención neuropsicológica en
base al nivel previo de la muestra, recogida mediante los instrumentos de evaluación
comentados previamente y ajustada a sus necesidades específicas. Esta propuesta
incluye además orientaciones para padres y maestros, junto con las actividades para
trabajar la creatividad y función ejecutiva y por ende, el desarrollo prefrontal en el grupo
de alumnos. El programa de intervención neuropsicológico propuesto ha de trabajarse
durante un periodo de 3 meses. Consta de 10 actividades y la temporalización es de 45
minutos a la semana.

The main objective of this study is propose a focused neuropsychological intervention
program to develop creativity in a group of 30 childhood education students. In addition,
we have tried to identify if there is a correlation between the level of executive function
(associated with the prefrontal cortex) and the level of creativity in the statistical sample.
To measure both variables in the statistical study sample (aged 3-6 years) a questionnaire
of creativity and the exercise known as "Simon dice", respectively were used. To analyze
the correlation we used parametric statistics, in this case we use the Pearson correlation
test. The obtained results, show that there is a high and positive statistically significant
relationship between the two variables (, 880, p <.001). Therefore, a neuropsychological
intervention program based on the previous level of the statistical sample was proposed,
this is collected using the previously discussed assessment tools, to fit their specific
needs. This proposal also includes guidelines for parents and teachers, and activities to
enhance creativity and executive function and therefore the prefrontal development in the
student group. The proposed neuropsychological program of intervention, must be
worked along a period of 3 months. It consists of 10 activities and the time required is 45
minutes a week.
