articleResumen:
Smart cities are a safe and productive regional service that provides their residents with a good standard of living by optimizing resource development. Considering the nature of the energy resources available, energy consumption is one of the most demanding issues within these smart cities. Compared to energy-efficient design and the implementation of living creatures, energy efficiency is now becoming a major task for smart city living. In this article, Energy Efficient Integrated Planning Framework (EEIPF) has been proposed for sustainable smart cities to enhance energy efficiency and performance. Energy efficiency planning over smart cities involves the primary and secondary strategies used in modern cities to improve energy efficiency. Integrated Planning Framework provides a numerical model for selecting energy efficiency methods to optimize economic and environmental impacts. EEIPF has been developed for systematic cost estimate via energy efficiency life cycle stages aimed at specific economic phases. EEIPF method has been used to develop the latest energy efficiency system and regulatory measures over smart cities.

Improved hybrid fuzzy logic system for evaluating sustainable transportation systems in smart cities
Wang, C.; Sanjuán Martínez, Óscar (1); González-Crespo, Rubén (1) (Inderscience Publishers, 2021)Modern times are required for smart cities to have sustainable transport systems. In several years the number of transport operations has increased considerably and the development is expected to increase in the years to ... -
Assessment of learning in environments interactive through fuzzy cognitive maps
Bolivar Baron, Holman; González-Crespo, Rubén (1); Pascual-Espada, Jórdan (1); Sanjuán Martínez, Óscar (1) (Soft Computing, 04/2015)Fuzzy cognitive maps have been applied in different areas to express the dynamic behavior of a set of related concepts. These maps are powerful tools for analysis and generate simulations in dynamic systems. Nowadays, ... -
Minimal green energy consumption and workload management for data centers on smart city platforms
Pei, Pei; Huo, Zongjie; Sanjuán Martínez, Óscar (1); González-Crespo, Rubén (1) (Sustainability, 04/2020)Presently, energy is considered a significant resource that grows scarce with high demand and population in the global market. Therefore, a survey suggested that renewable energy sources are required to avoid scarcity. ...
