This final degree project focuses on the use of educational apps as tools for the development of creative writing, in the fourth year of Basic General Education, which includes 9-year-old children. The main objective is to propose didactic activities through the use of “ICT” (Information and Communication Technology) to strengthen the intellectual and cognitive development of the student. Since it has been shown that, by involving creative writing with the implementation of technological tools, a collaborative, autonomous and free work is carried out. For the development of communicational skills and the correct use of ICT, this didactic proposal has a variety of actions related to creative writing and technology. The activities begin by strengthening the Microsoft Office tools and then, writings are being developed in app such as Genially, Padlet and Canva. The proposal arises as a response to the current problem of virtual classes due to COVID-19 and the need for new learning strategies; we are currently in a world where technology is an essential part of the actions of the human being, therefore, it is important to promote educational activities that involve the children and develop their creativity.
