| dc.description | In this paper we move into the concept of the lobby to know the origin of this practice and the various forms this activity takes nowadays. Acceptance of lobbies varies from one country to another, as well as the regulation to which they are subjected. While Washington and Brussels are known as the world capitals of the lobby, in Spain it is rather a pending issue and its regulation will be a major challenge. However, it will not be easy because of the connotations attributed to these professionals both from the perspective of society and the political sphere itself, because talking about lobbying is most often referred to influences, power and business interests. | dc.description.abstract | En el presente trabajo nos adentramos en el concepto del lobby para conocer el origen de esta práctica y las diversas formas que hoy en día adquiere esta actividad. La aceptación de los lobbies varía por países, así como la regulación a la que están sometidos. Mientras Washington o Bruselas son conocidas como las capitales mundiales del lobby, en España es más bien una asignatura pendiente y su regulación supondrá un importante reto. Sin embargo, no será tarea fácil debido a las connotaciones atribuidas a estos profesionales tanto desde la perspectiva de la sociedad así como del propio ámbito político, y es que hablar de lobby en la mayoría de las ocasiones es hablar de influencias, poder e intereses empresariales. Sólo el tiempo dirá si estamos preparados para este cambio. | es_ES |
