El objetivo de esta investigación ha sido examinar el desarrollo de los patrones motrices básicos en niños de Educación Infantil y su posible influencia en el proceso de aprendizaje de la escritura. Para el estudio se realizaron pruebas de motricidad y escritura a 38 alumnos de un Colegio Público de una zona rural.
Se empleó una metodología de investigación no experimental, basada en la observación directa de los sujetos de la muestra y los datos obtenidos se analizaron a través de procedimientos descriptivos y correlacionales. Los resultados mostraron que el desarrollo motor grueso guarda cierta relación con la escritura
En este trabajo de investigación se propone un programa de intervención educativa dirigido a trabajar los patrones motrices básicos con el fin de mejorar el aprendizaje de la escritura.

The objective of this research was to examine the development of basic motor patterns in preschool children and its possible influence on the process of learning to write. For the study of motor skills and writing tests to 38 students in a public school in a rural area were performed.
A methodology for non-experimental research, based on direct observation of the subjects of the sample and the data obtained was used were analyzed by descriptive and correlational procedures. The results showed that gross motor development relates somehow to writing.
In this research an educational intervention program aimed at working the basic motor patterns in order to improve the learning of writing is proposed.
