masterThesisResumen:
Reading is a complex activity in the process of learning and education of human beings, therefore, may be affected by various visual aspects, such as saccadic eye movements. Therefore, throughout this paper the eye movements made during the reading process will be studied, together with the reading speed and comprehension, as both are aspects of singular importance and influence in the learning process of our students. So we have proceeded to the evaluation of 30 students from the first cycle of primary education, through a series of tests: KD to analyze saccades, eye Reporting –for their eye movements–, and testing speed and reading comprehension with the tools of the Assistance Project for the development of Intelligence. The results indicate that there is significant relationship between eye movements and reading comprehension, however this relationship is not statistically significant variable reading speed.
