| dc.description | The acceleration of late Modernity introduces a novel way of conceiving the world, human beings, and life experience. Contem-porary dramaturgy, building upon the literary and narrative innova-tions of previous decades, develops various strategies to narrate this accelerated world and the fictional beings that inhabit it. Within this framework, this article proposes two case studies of the German author Marius Von Mayenburg: Eldorado and The Ugly One. Through the analy-sis of both texts and drawing on the sociological, philosophical, and aes-thetic foundations that frame the phenomenon of acceleration, we will examine the procedures employed by this playwright to immerse us in the speed of the world we inhabit. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La aceleración de la Modernidad tardía plantea una ma-nera novedosa de concebir el mundo, el ser humano y la experiencia vital. La dramaturgia actual, desarrollando las innovaciones literarias y narrativas de las décadas anteriores, muestra diversas estrategias para narrar este mundo acelerado y los seres de ficción que lo habitan. En este marco, se proponen en este artículo dos estudios de caso del autor alemán Marius Von Mayenburg: Eldorado y El feo. A través del análisis de ambos textos y apoyándonos en los sustratos sociológicos, filosóficos y estéticos que enmarcan el fenómeno de la aceleración, se estudiarán los procedimientos de este dramaturgo para sumergirnos en la velocidad del mundo que habitamos. | es_ES |
