| dc.description | Teixeira de Pascoaes is one of the most important representatives of the movement known as Renascença Portuguesa. This movement recovers neo-Romantic elements that combine a mystical-poetic and natural sentiment with the technical reason of industrialisation. This intellectual context reveals in some aspects concepts typical of Franciscanism, something that is not alien to Romantic poetry in other places, such as France for example. Este contexto intelectual deja ver en algunos aspectos conceptos propios del franciscanismo, algo que no es ajeno a la poesía romántica en otros lugares, como por ejemplo Francia.
