El desarrollo de las terapias avanzadas es uno de los principales hitos médicos y científicos alcanzados en los últimos años en el abordaje de enfermedades en las que existe una gran necesidad no cubierta. Son medicamentos que constituyen una nueva oportunidad y esperanza para muchos pacientes que, hasta ahora, no contaban con otros tratamientos.
No obstante, dado su alto impacto sanitario y elevado coste económico, es necesario asegurar un adecuado acceso al mercado de los mismos, garantizando la accesibilidad para todos los pacientes, así como la medición de resultados en salud y determinación de su valor terapéutico, que, en la mayoría de los casos, no está suficientemente demostrado en el momento de su aprobación, existiendo una elevada incertidumbre que tanto el laboratorio titular como el pagador y los pacientes deben manejar.
El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster tiene como objetivo plantear el Dosier de valor y la posible estrategia de acceso al mercado para el medicamento Hemgenix®.
Con ello será posible establecer adecuadamente el valor terapéutico y el posicionamiento de este nuevo medicamento teniendo en cuenta los datos disponibles en el momento de su realización, así como establecer una estrategia de acceso aplicable y proporcionada a los beneficios establecidos para el producto, que permita manejar de forma equitativa y justa, la incertidumbre asociada a las condiciones de su autorización

The development of advanced therapies is one of the main medical and scientific milestones achieved in the recent years in addressing diseases in which there are great unmet needs. They are medicinal products that constitute a new opportunity and hope for a lot of patients that, up to this moment, had no other therapeutic alternatives.
However, their high sanitary impact and their high economic costs make necessary to ensure an adequate market access for them, guaranteeing accessibility for all patients, as well as an adequate monitoring and measurement of health results and the establishment of their therapeutic value. In most cases there is not enough evidence at the time of its approval, and so there is a high degree of uncertainty that all the involved agents: the authorization holder, the payer, and the patients, must manage.
The objective of this TFM is to present the “Value Dossier” and a feasible market access strategy for the drug Hemgenix®.
This will make posible to establish the therapeutic value and the position of this new drug, considering the data available at this moment, as well as will stand a feasible access strategy, proportional to the benefits established for the product that will allow the manage of the uncertainty associated with the conditions of its authorization in an equitable and fair way.
