En este trabajo se expone el resultado de una experiencia didáctica llevada a cabo en el marco de la asignatura de Didáctica de la Lengua Inglesa, dentro del Máster Universitario de Formación del Profesorado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Enseñanza de Idiomas en una universidad online. Por lo tanto, los sujetos del presente estudio son futuros docentes de inglés que se están formando de manera no presencial. Resulta fundamental desarrollar la competencia digital de estos futuros docentes como parte de su formación universitaria. Así, comprobar la autopercepción de los estudiantes puede suponer un punto de partida para implementar programas de mejora de dicha competencia. Con el objetivo de medir su autopercepción, estos contestan un cuestionario al comenzar la asignatura y al inalizarla. Se trata de una asignatura en la que la profesora introduce numerosas herramientas digitales, tanto en sus clases online síncronas, como mediante actividades asíncronas, pensando en la futura práctica docente de su alumnado. Una vez realizada la intervención, se ha podido comprobar que la autopercepción por parte de los estudiantes en relación con su competencia digital disminuye, conscientes del alto número de herramientas que desconocían antes de empezar la asignatura.

This paper sets out the result of a didactic experience carried out within the framework of the subject of English Language Didactics, part of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, given at an online university. For this reason, the subjects of this piece of research are future English teachers who are studying their degree online. Digital competence should be fostered at the university stage, as an intrinsic part of students' training as future teachers. Therefore, examining students' self-perception can be a starting point for implementing programmes to improve this competence. In order to measure their self-perception, they answer a questionnaire at the beginning and at the end of the subject. This is a subject in which the teacher introduces numerous digital tools, both in the synchronous online classes, as well as for asynchronous activities, thinking about the future teaching practice of the students. The result of the experience has shown that the students' self-perception concerning their digital competence decreases when they become aware of the high number of tools they were unfamiliar with before starting the subject.
