dc.descriptionThe objective of this article is to analyze the value that students in various Colombian universities attach to virtual learning. The work is based on the results obtained from a survey of 384 online university students in Colombia. The obtained data confirm the existence of a strong association among factors relative to the quality of the technological infrastructure, the information, and the service offered, as well as the interactions generated in the act of teaching. The results can aid institutions of higher education in developing projects or programs that contribute to improving student perceptions of the quality of education received in this type of programs.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la valoración que los estudiantes de diferentes universidades de Colombia manifiestan sobre la modalidad virtual. El trabajo se basa en los resultados obtenidos a partir de la aplicación de una encuesta a 384 estudiantes de universidades virtuales de Colombia. Los datos obtenidos confirman la fuerte asociación existente entre los factores relativos a la calidad de la infraestructura tecnológica, de la información y del servicio ofrecido, así como en las interacciones generadas en la acción formativa. Los resultados pueden ayudar a las instituciones de educación superior en el desarrollo de proyectos o programas que contribuyan a aumentar la percepción de los estudiantes sobre la calidad de la educación recibida en este tipo de programas.es_ES
