El objetivo principal de este trabajo final de máster se centra en la creciente
necesidad de un teatro para el aprendizaje de las lenguas que se adapte a la sociedad de hoy
en día. Dedicado a un público infantil y juvenil, un teatro creado para bilingües del que se
conoce poco y se habla menos en el ámbito científico y artístico. Con la intención de darlo a
conocer, de abogar por su profesionalización y de destacar sus numerosas ventajas tanto en
el ámbito educativo como el de las compañías teatrales.
Para ello, sentaremos las bases del teatro infantil y juvenil y cómo ha ido ligado a la
educación a lo largo de la historia. También será esencial conocer cuáles son las nuevas
tendencias en educación y cómo acercarnos a ellas desde el teatro con una inmejorable
propuesta escénica. Seguiremos los consejos de diversos profesionales del sector educativo y
artistico, así como una bibliografia extensa para determinar aspectos conceptuales, de
caracterización, remarcando los principales beneficios y limitaciones de este tipo de teatro.
Porque es un teatro que no ha venido para crear tendencia sino para establecerse dentro del
ámbito teatral de una sociedad plurilingüe y multicultural como la europea.

The main objective of this Master's Dissertation focuses on the growing need for a
foreign language theatre that could adapt to today's society. A theatre created for infant and
youth audience, specifically for a bilingual context. About this theatre, a li`le it is known and
less talked about in the scientific and artistic sphere. To make this theatre known, focusing on
its professionalization and highlighting its many advantages on both sides, the educational
field and the theatre companies sphere.
To do so, we will develop the children's and youth theatre foundations and how it has
linked to education throughout history. It will also be essential to know about the new trends
in education and how to approach them from the theatre with an unbeatable performance
proposal. We will follow the advice of several professionals in both the educational and
artistic sector. We will support our ideas in an extensive bibliography to determine
conceptual and characterization aspects, highlighting the main benefits and limitations of
this type of theatre. It is a theatre that has not come to create a trend but to establish itself
within the theatrical scope of a multilingual and multicultural society such as Europe.
