The Higher Normal Schools (ENS) in Colombia as trainers of future teachers who will work in
preschool and elementary school have the challenge of training committed, responsible and
capable teachers to face the situations that arise from their work, considering the needs of the
context in which it is immersed. For this reason, the psychopedagogical intervention proposal
seeks to strengthen vocational training in teachers in training so that they understand the role
they play in society. This proposal is based on learning by competencies, managing to develop
skills, knowledge and abilities that will be evidenced in the teaching task. Having as main
knowledge, know-how and know-how to transfer focused on the interests and motivations of
the students that allows them to recognize their educational practice and reflect on it. Thus, with psychopedagogical intervention, future teachers will be professionals committed to their
teaching work, capable of showing vocation and love for what they do, with a high degree of
responsibility and with the ability to promote meaningful spaces that respond to the needs and
characteristics of the students.
