Análisis del consumo de drogas a través del discurso de adolescentes y la percepción de las familias

La presente investigación social es de tipo cualitativo, se ha desarrollado a partir de la
recolección de datos sobre el consumo de drogas en adolescentes, recolección de técnicas
de información como la observación no participante y en especial la realización de cuatro
grupos de discusión conformados por adolescentes en edades de 12 a 16 años y padres de
familia pertenecientes al barrio 2 de febrero de la parroquia la ecuatoriana de la ciudad de
Quito – Ecuador. El objetivo principal pretende analizar el consumo de drogas y la
percepción de las familias a través del discurso, en este sentido se busca investigar las
causas que inducen al consumo de drogas en los adolescentes, identificar los factores de
riesgo de las familias que inciden en el consumo de drogas y determinar quiénes son las
personas de mayor confianza de los adolescentes que influyen en la toma de sus
decisiones. Los resultados de este estudio, evidencian que el consumo de drogas por parte
de los adolescentes se ha convertido en una problemática social, en este sentido, se debe
analizar desde diferentes perspectivas que intervienen en el contexto del adolescente como
son influencias de los adolescentes que se desglosan en relaciones de confianza,
intervención de los padres y prácticas de crianza; motivaciones sobre el consumo de drogas,
las cuales comprenden entorno social y entorno familiar, para finalizar con comportamientos
ante el consumo de drogas, en relación al comportamiento personal y al comportamiento de
otras personas del entorno.
Descripción:
The current social research is qualitative, it has been developed from data collection about
teenager drug consumption, collection of information techniques like no participant
observation and mainly from four discussion groups formed by 12 year old to 16 year old
teenager and parents who belonged to "2 de febrero" neighborhood which is part of an urban
parish from Quito-Ecuador. The main objective is to analyze drug consumption and the
families’ perception through the discourse, in this regard the main idea is to study teenager
drug consumption causes, identify families' risk factors that have an impact in drug
consumption and establish who the people teenager trust the most are and play an important
role when taking their decisions. The results from this research reveal that teenager drug
consumption has become a social problem, for that matter, it is a duty to analyze from
different perspectives that intervene in the context of the teenager, as are influences of
adolescents that is defined by trust relationships, parent intervention and parenting practices;
motivations on the consumption of drug which includes social environment and family
environment, to end with behaviors in the face of the consumption of drug, in relation to
personal behavior and the behavior of the other people in the environment.
