Resumen:
Las unidades educativas de las Fuerzas Armadas son instituciones que pertenecen al
Sistema Educativo de la República del Ecuador, pero con la particularidad de que se
encuentran administradas por personal designado por las Fuerzas Armadas; por lo
tanto, deben cumplir con lo establecido tanto en la Constitución Política de la
República y la Ley Orgánica de Educación Intercultural (2015), en donde se recogen
todas las directrices que rigen su actuación en el ámbito educativo y se compromete
con las directrices que guíen el trabajo de los actores educativos (directivos, docentes,
administrativos, estudiantes, padres y madres de familia y/o representantes), con lo
antes indicado se hace necesario que aquellas instituciones que anteriormente
formaban parte de este sistema de estudios y que por decisiones políticas fueron
entregadas a la administración pública, vuelvan a ser administradas por las Fuerzas
Armadas, en este caso particular de estudio la unidad educativa General Miguel
Iturralde pase nuevamente a ser regentada por el Ejército ecuatoriano, pero para que
esta transición tenga los resultados deseados es necesario implementar un sistema de
gestión basado en indicadores de gestión que permitan garantizar la calidad de la
educación en esta institución.
Descripción:
The Educational Units of the Armed Forces, are Institutions that belong to the
Educational System of the Ecuadorian Republic, but with the particularity that they
are administrated by staff designated by the Armed Forces; that is why they have to
accomplish what is established in the Political Constitution of the Republic and the
organic law of Intercultural Education, where all the guidelines that govern its
collected, and is also committed to the guidelines that guide the work of Educational
actors such as (administration directors, students’ parents or family representatives),
with before indicated, it is necessary that those institutions were previously part of
the studies system and by political decisions they were handed to the public
administration, they are again administered by the Armed Forces, this particular case
of study the General Miguel Iturralde educational unit passes again to be run by the
Ecuadorian Army, but for this transition to have the desired results it is necessary to
implement a system based on management indicators that guarantee the quality of
education in this institution.
