dc.description.abstract	We celebrate the Centennial of the 500th Aniversary of the Cisneros University College in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, a prestigious University in its time. This Institution stars its activitities the 14th March 1499. Since its beginnings it became a specialized study center in humanism as a reaction to the Middle Ages. Alcalá was well known mainly for its language and biblical studies. The leading figures of this movement werc its Regents and Chanccllors, whose first epresentatives are described.	es_ES
