En la actualidad, un acudiente tiene pocas herramientas para conocer el proceso académico
del alumno de un colegio público del municipio de Chía, generalmente, este conocimiento se
adquiere cuando se realizan reuniones en el colegio, si el docente envía una nota en la
agenda o si el colegio envía circulares o comunicados; todas estas herramientas cuentan
con el alumno como medio para enviar la información, es decir, no hay comunicación directa
entre la entidad educativa y los acudientes de un alumno.
Por medio del uso de la metodología Agile Unified Process (AUP) se desarrolló un sistema
informático compuesto por una aplicación web escrita en C#, una móvil empleando Ionic y
un sistema central de datos en SQL Server que tiene como objetivo diseñar y desarrollar un
sistema informático que permita la comunicación entre directivos, docentes y acudientes en
colegios públicos de Chía Colombia el cual se cumplió de manera satisfactoria.

Currently, a public school located in the town of Chía, offers very few tools to their student’s
guardian to follow their academic process. Usually, this information is acquired only when a
meeting is scheduled by having a teacher write a note on a student’s agenda, or, if the
school itself sends out a slip informing about the meeting; these tools depend on the student
as a way of getting the message out to their guardian. It means that there is not a direct way
on getting the message through between the institution and the guardian.
Through the use of the Agile Unified Process (AUP) methodology, an informatics system was
developed made up with one web app written in C#, a mobile app using Ionic and a central
database in SQL Server. The main purpose is to design and develop an informatics system
that will allow communication between the school staff such as managers, teachers and
guardians located in public schools of Chía, Colombia, which was met successfully.
