masterThesisResumen:
necesaria.
Descripción:
These are contradictory times for Art education: while the need to enhance creativity
at all levels is recognised, at the same time Art teaching hours are decreased. In view of this fact, this study aims to demonstrate the importance Art has in people's lives in today's globalized world and the possibilities that an Art education offers in the current digital network system.
Taking as reference the rhizomatic learning model principles developed by Deleuze
and Guattari —who advocated for an open and flexible teaching to complement an
arborescent, linear and binary model of education— the present study reflects upon
and anayses concepts and emerging practices and projects related to education, art
and technology.
Through the search of solutions and alternatives, this research highlights the
importance of quality Art education adapted to the internet era, concluding that it is
not only possible but also necessary.
