| dc.description | This master's thesis consists of the development of a rainwater harvesting system to supply the Intercultural Bilingual Community Educational Center (CECIB) Eperara Sia Piadaarade, located in the Esmeraldas province of Ecuador, due to water scarcity and contamination in the area. The main objective is to analyze the technical and environmental feasibility to ensure sustainable and efficient access to drinking water, utilizing available natural resources. Through an appropriate system for collection, storage, and treatment, the goal is to ensure a constant water source to meet the water demand of the educational unit's users, reducing reliance on contaminated underground sources and minimizing environmental impact. This project will not only contribute to improving the health conditions of the students and staff at the educational center but will also encourage the responsible use and conservation of water, promoting self-management of water resources and fostering more sustainable practices at the institutional level. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de fin de master consiste en el desarrollo de un sistema de captación de aguas lluvias para abastecer al Centro Educativo Comunitario Intercultural Bilingüe (CECIB) Eperara Sia Piadaarade, ubicado en la provincia de Esmeraldas de Ecuador, debido a la escases y contaminación de agua en el sector, cuyo objetivo principal es analizar la viabilidad técnica y ambiental, que permita garantizar el acceso a agua potable de manera sostenible y eficiente, aprovechando los recursos naturales disponibles. A través de un sistema adecuado de recolección, almacenamiento y tratamiento, se busca asegurar una fuente constante de agua para cubrir la demanda de agua de los usuarios de la unidad educativa, reduciendo la dependencia de fuentes subterráneas contaminadas y minimizando el impacto ambiental. Este proyecto no solo contribuirá a mejorar las condiciones de salud de los estudiantes y personal del centro educativo, sino que también fomentará el uso y conservación responsable del agua, promoviendo la autogestión de los recursos hídricos y fomentando prácticas más sostenibles a nivel institucional. | es_ES |
