El objetivo principal de este Trabajo Final del Máster Universitario de Fotografía Artística
impartido por la Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (en adelante TFM) es evaluar las
ciudades contemporáneas y los planteamientos urbanísticos modernos con perspectiva de
género, tomando como caso de análisis concreto la ciudad de Valencia. A través de un
proyecto fotográfico artístico, basado en la investigación realizada, y utilizando las narrativas
visuales artísticas de la posfotografía y el storytelling, se documentan los paisajes urbanos de
la ciudad, poniendo en relieve las carencias y los fallos de los planteamientos urbanísticos
actuales, para evidenciar los problemas y las dificultades cotidianas a las que las mujeres se
enfrentan en el acto de transitar y habitar el espacio público. El proyecto tendrá como formato
final un fanzine constituido por un número determinado de hojas que al plegarse y
entrelazarse las unas con las otras, permiten construir una estructura de papel, que se erige a
metáfora de la resiliencia de la mujer.
Descripción:
The main objective of this Final Project of the Master's Degree in Artistic Photography taught
by the International University of La Rioja (hereinafter TFM) is to evaluate contemporary cities
and modern urban planning approaches with a gender perspective, taking the city of Valencia.
Through an artistic photographic project, based on the research conducted, and using the
artistic visual narratives of post-photography and storytelling, the urban landscapes of the city
are documented, highlighting the shortcomings and failures of current urban planning
approaches, to highlight the daily problems and difficulties that women face in the act of
transiting and inhabiting the public space. The final format of the project will be a fanzine
made up of a certain number of sheets that, when folded and intertwined with each other,
allow the construction of a paper structure, which stands as a metaphor for the resilience of
women.
