| dc.description | The article addresses the importance of the figure of Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz in the theatre of the Mexican playwright Maria Luisa Medina. The author, included by Victor Hugo Rascon Banda in the anthology El nuevo teatro (1997), wrote, directed and acted in the 1990s in two projects in which the figure of the Tenth Muse is central in the development of the dramatic action. The article focuses its attention on how Tren nocturno a Georgia and La condesa llego a las cinco develop a subversion of the biography and some of the best-known verses from a gender perspective that updates the symbolic meaning of Sor Juana and her world through the fictionalization of the sentimental and intellectual intimacy of the different characters that circulate on the scene. | es_ES |

La autora, incluida por Víctor Hugo Rascón Banda en la antología El nuevo teatro (1997), escribió, dirigió y actuó en la década de 1990 en dos proyectos en los que la figura de la Décima Musa es central en el desarrollo de la acción dramática. El artículo focaliza su atención en cómo Tren nocturno a Georgia y La condesa llegó a las cinco desarrollan una subversión de la biografía y de algunos de los más conocidos versos desde una perspectiva de género que actualiza el significado simbólico de Sor Juana y su mundo a través de la ficcionalización de la intimidad sentimental e intelectual de los diferentes personajes que circulan en la escena. | es_ES |
