Introduction and objectives: in the last few years there has been a growing scientific interest in Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD). It is characterized by elevated discomfort associated with persistent genital arousal in the form of genital sensations or tenderness in the genital area, in the absence of sexual desire. It was included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) of the WHO. There are doubts and scarce data regarding its ethology, course, and treatment, so the aim of this study was to perform a systematic review of the proposed treatments and their efficacy.es_ES
