Las nuevas tecnologías juegan un papel imprescindible en nuestra sociedad y en el
mundo laboral de hoy en día. Así, la competencia digital no puede ser apartada de la
enseñanza de la Lengua Castellana y de la Literatura puesto que la lengua y las herramientas
de comunicación están vinculadas y unidas entre sí. La competencia lectora, junto con la
comprensión de textos, son dos elementos fundamentales para la adquisición de
conocimientos, el desarrollo del aprendizaje autónomo y la adquisición de competencias de
nuestros alumnos. De tal forma que para desarrollar el hábito lector es de suma importancia
fomentar la lectura a través de las Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación así
lograr que se convierta en una actividad de ocio y en una fuente de placer.
Este trabajo pretende fomentar el hábito lector en alumnos de 4º de Educación
Secundaria Obligatoria a través de la organización de un mercadillo de libros, en el cual
deberán realizar una campaña publicitaria y organizar su puesta en marcha, junto con la
realización de un cuento distópico que será presentado este mismo día. Para su realización se
emplearán diversas herramientas tecnológicas que tienen como objetivo acercar a los
alumnos a la lectura. Para ello, esta propuesta se basa en una metodología, que toma en
cuenta la diversidad del alumnado, y donde la participación activa del alumnado permite el
desarrollo de su aprendizaje, su responsabilidad y su creatividad.

New technologies play a vital role in our new society and in the current professional
sphere. Thus, the digital skill can’t be separated from the education of Castilian Spanish and
literature: language and communication tools are bonded and united. The reading skill and
the understanding of texts are two fundamental elements leading our students to the
acquisition of knowledge, development of autonomous learning and the acquisition of skills.
In order to develop the habit of reading, the promotion of reading through the information
and communication technologies is fundamental: this way, reading will converted from an
entertaining activity into a leisure activity.
This job aims at promoting the reading habit for 11th grade students in the Mandatory
Secondary Education, through the organisation of a book market in which they will have to
create an advertising campaign and organize its launching. They will also have the mission to
put in place a dystopia story to be introduced on the same day. To this end, the students will
use various technological tools that aim at growing an interest in the activity of reading. In
order to achieve this goal, this proposition is based on a methodology that takes into account
the diversity amongst students and encourages their active participation, which will allow the
development of their learning, of their sense of responsibility and of their creativity.
