Este trabajo fin de máster presenta una propuesta didáctica para la enseñanza de español
como segunda lengua (EL2) a aprendientes de 12-13 años de nivel A2 en un centro de
enseñanza secundaria en la ciudad de Málaga. Esta propuesta didáctica estará fundamentada
en el modelo pedagógico finlandés denominado aprendizaje basado en fenómenos (ABF). El
objetivo de esta propuesta es ofrecer una alternativa metodológica que satisfaga las dos
necesidades primordiales que tienen los hijos e hijas de familias inmigrantes que todavía no
dominan la lengua española: aprender el idioma e integrarse en el sistema educativo y la
comunidad de forma proactiva. Para la elaboración de dicha propuesta se parte de un marco
teórico en el que se definirá en qué consiste el ABF y se explorará detalladamente la última
reforma curricular del sistema educativo finlandés. En el siguiente apartado se estudiarán las
características de las Aulas Temporales de Adaptación Lingüística (ATAL) según la normativa
educativa vigente en Andalucía. También se explorarán las posibilidades legales que existen
en la normativa andaluza para diseñar un proyecto educativo de centro (PEC) inspirado en
ABF. Por último, se ofrecerá la propuesta de intervención consistente en una unidad didáctica
compuesta de cinco sesiones en las que se presentan una secuencia coherente de actividades
dirigidas al aprendizaje de la lengua española a través de la exploración del fenómeno
seleccionado: la exposición universal. Cada una de las sesiones estará construida alrededor de
una pregunta sobre dicho fenómeno. De tal manera que cada una de las preguntas den
respuesta a una perspectiva diferente del fenómeno y, a su vez, estén relacionadas con el
resto de asignaturas que componen el currículo. De esta forma, se enseñará español de forma
integrada con el resto de asignaturas, confluyendo todas ellas en la organización de una
exposición universal en el centro educativo.

This master's thesis presents a didactic proposal for teaching Spanish as a second language
(SL2) to 12-13 year-old learners at A2 level in a high school in the city of Málaga. This didactic
proposal will be based on the Finnish pedagogical model called phenomena-based learning
(PhBL). The objective of this proposal is to offer a methodological alternative that satisfies the
two main needs of the sons and daughters of immigrant families who have not yet mastered
the Spanish language: to learn the language and to integrate into the educational system and
the community in a proactive way. In order to elaborate this proposal, a theoretical framework
will be used to define what PhBF consists of and the latest curricular reform of the Finnish
educational system will be explored in detail. In the following section we will study the
characteristics of the Temporary Language Adaptation Classrooms (TLAC) according to the
current educational regulations in Andalusia. It will also explore the legal possibilities that exist
in the Andalusian regulations to design a school educational project (SEP) inspired by PhBL.
Finally, the intervention proposal will be offered, consisting of a didactic unit composed of five
sessions in which a coherent sequence of activities aimed at learning the Spanish language
through the exploration of the selected phenomenon: the universal exhibition. Each of the
sessions will be built around a question about the phenomenon. In such a way that each of
the questions will answer a different perspective of the phenomenon and, at the same time,
will be related to the rest of the subjects that make up the curriculum. In this way, Spanish will
be taught in an integrated way with the rest of the subjects, converging all of them in the
organization of a universal exhibition in the high school.
