Resumen:
El presente trabajo pretende analizar la problemática surgida en la normativa reguladora del
deporte respecto a la salvaguarda de los jugadores menores de edad. La especial atención y
protección que el menor tiene en el derecho, ha de verse reflejada obligatoriamente cuando
éstos realizan como actividad fundamental la del deporte, en particular, en el mundo del fútbol
en el que es frecuente el movimiento de menores de edad entre clubes. Partiendo del examen
de la naturaleza y origen de la FIFA, se estudia el Reglamento sobre el Estatuto y la
Transferencia de Jugadores sobre la protección de los menores de edad. En ese sentido, se
compara esta normativa junto a las establecidas en el sistema internacional y español de
protección de los derechos del menor cuyas significativas diferencias gozan de gran relevancia
ámbito laboral. Todo ello, a efectos de comprobar si la normativa realmente ampara y protege
un grupo necesitado de especial amparo.

The present work pretends to analyze the problematic one appeared in the regulating norm of
the sport with respect to the safeguard of the minor players. The special attention and protection
that the minor has in the right must necessarily be reflected when they perform as a fundamental
activity that of sports, in particular, in the world of football in which the movement of those
between clubs is frequent. Based on the examination of the nature and origin of FIFA, the
Regulation on the Statute and Transfer of Players on the protection of minors is studied. Along
with this, this regulation is compared with those established in the international and Spanish
system of protection of the rights of minors, whose significant differences enjoy great relevance
in workplace. All this, in order to check whether the regulations really protect and protect a
group in need of special protection.
