| dc.description | For various reasons, many baptized individuals are distant from the Church, often referred to as non-practicing baptized. Additionally, there is a significant group known as baptized non-believers, who not only distance themselves from the Church and religion but also lack faith. Despite this, many baptized non-believers still wish to marry within the Church. In some cases, one spouse is a baptized non-believer, while in other instances, both partners are. These couples marry both, canonically and sacramentally, as their marriage is considered a sacrament by virtue of their baptism. Although faith is not a prerequisite for entering into such a marriage, this raises legal concerns, as the absence of faith may affect the validity of the union. This academic work examines the marriages of baptized non-believers who seek to marry within the Church. It concludes that the Church must conduct a thorough analysis of this issue and take immediate action while the investigation is ongoing. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Por diferentes motivos muchos bautizados están alejados de la Iglesia, los llamados bautizados no practicantes. Asimismo, existe otro gran grupo al que se le ha denominado los bautizados no creyentes, quienes no están únicamente alejados de la Iglesia y de la religión, sino que carecen de fe. Muchos de estos bautizados no creyentes se quieren casar canónicamente. En algunas ocasiones uno de los contrayentes es un bautizado no creyente y en otras, ambos. Se casan canónicamente y además sacramentalmente, ya que al ser bautizados su matrimonio es un sacramento. La fe no es un requisito para poder contraer este matrimonio, pero es, desde el punto de vista jurídico, una preocupación porque puede contribuir a que se efectúen matrimonios inválidos, ya que la falta de fe puede influir tangencialmente en la nulidad. En este trabajo se analiza el matrimonio de los bautizados no creyentes que desean casarse ante la Iglesia. La conclusión principal es la necesidad que tiene la Iglesia de hacer un análisis profundo de esta realidad y que se tomen acciones inmediatas para tratar de paliar el problema en tanto se realiza dicho análisis. | es_ES |
