| dc.description | Social support is considered an important protective factor for coping with caregiving situations, since it positively affects psychological well-being and quality of life. One way in which this support can be provided effectively is through the use of mutual aid groups (GAM). The general objective of developing a GAM of female caregivers in Llíria is pursued through the project. Using a participatory methodology, activities will be carried out aimed at 10 women that address the topics of self-esteem and autonomy, empowerment and sisterhood, mental health and self-care, and community support networks. In conclusion, the creation of a mutual support group for women caregivers is an initiative that can transform lives, by providing a safe space, equipping caregivers with tools and building a support network, to empower women, and strengthen their ability to care and take care of oneself. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El apoyo social se considera como un importante factor de protección para hacer frente a las situaciones del cuidado, ya que incide positivamente en el bienestar psicológico y la calidad de vida. Una forma en que este apoyo se puede brindar de manera efectiva es mediante el uso de grupos de ayuda mutua (GAM). A través del proyecto se persigue el objetivo general de desarrollar de un GAM de mujeres cuidadoras en Llíria. Mediante una metodología participativa, se realizarán actividades dirigidas a 10 mujeres que abordan los temas de autoestima y autonomía, empoderamiento y sororidad, salud mental y autocuidado, y redes de apoyo comunitarias. Como conclusión, la creación de un grupo de apoyo mutuo para mujeres cuidadoras es una iniciativa que puede transformar vidas, al proporcionar un espacio seguro, equipar a las cuidadoras con herramientas y construir una red de apoyo, para empoderar a las mujeres, y fortalecer su capacidad para cuidar y cuidarse. | es_ES |
