dc.description	The present study explores the relationship between adult attachment and attitudes towards gender equality, a relationship that has received limited attention in the existing scientific literature. The sample consisted of 126 participants of legal age and residents in Spain. Although no differences in attachment style were found according to gender or age, women scored significantly higher on some factors of attitude towards gender equality. In addition, a significant relationship was found between this variable and attachment style. These findings highlight the importance of including psychological factors in the analysis of cultural constructs. Finally, implications of the findings for the promotion of gender equality in society are discussed.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente estudio explora la relación entre el apego adulto y la actitud hacia la igualdad de género, una conexión abordada de manera limitada en la literatura científica existente. La muestra estuvo conformada por 126 participantes mayores de edad y residentes en España. Aunque no se observaron diferencias en el estilo de apego según el género o la edad, las mujeres obtuvieron puntuaciones significativamente más elevadas en algunos factores de la actitud hacia la igualdad de género. Además, se identificaron relaciones significativas entre tal variable y el estilo de apego. Estos resultados resaltan la importancia de considerar factores psicológicos en el análisis de constructos culturales. Finalmente, se discuten las implicaciones de los hallazgos encontrados para la promoción de la igualdad de género en la sociedad.	es_ES
