| dc.description | Music Performance Anxiety or MPA, is a set of symptoms that affects a large number of musicians regardless of their level of education, age and gender. Adequate levels of anxiety can be adaptive, however, when a certain threshold is exceeded, it becomes maladaptive and can hinder and even prevent musical interpretation. Contrary to what might be expected, there is still a lack of consensus today regarding the delimitation of this set of symptoms, as well as a great shortage of standardized measurement instruments for its detection. Focusing on this last aspect, the present work intends to carry out a bibliographic review of the different instruments that exist to quantitatively measure MPA. We find that one predominates and has been validated in different languages: the K-MPAI. The different versions of it will be analyzed in terms of their structural characteristics and psychometric properties and possible future lines of research will be proposed in relation to the results obtained, which indicate that the | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La Ansiedad Escénica en Músicos o AEM, es un conjunto de síntomas que afecta a un gran número de músicos independientemente de su nivel de estudios, edad y género. Unos niveles adecuados de ansiedad pueden resultar adaptativos, no obstante, cuando se sobrepasa un determinado umbral pasa a ser desadaptativa y puede dificultar e incluso impedir la interpretación musical. De manera contraria a lo que cabría esperar, existe una falta de consenso todavía hoy en día en cuanto a la delimitación de este conjunto de síntomas, así como una gran escasez en instrumentos de medida estandarizados para la detección del mismo. Centrándonos en este último aspecto, el presente trabajo pretende realizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre los diferentes instrumentos que existen para medir cuantitativamente la AEM. Nos encontramos en que predomina uno y ha sido validado en diferentes idiomas: el K- MPAI. Se analizarán las diferentes versiones de este en lo referente a sus características estructurales y propiedades psicométricas y se plantearán unas posibles líneas de investigación futuras con relación a los resultados obtenidos, los cuales señalan que aún queda camino por recorrer en el estudio y diagnóstico de la AEM. | es_ES |
