masterThesisResumen:

Due to the information collected in the theoretical framework, in research carried out by different recognized companies and the perception of the researcher, it was decided to carry out structured surveys to millennials in the city of Samborondón, where the result obtained was that social networks, trends and purchasing power are determining factors involved in the process of buying food products, the same hypothesis established by the author. To complement the research, it was decided to implement the statistical model of the contingency factors table, which confirmed the hypothesis that the three factors mentioned above influence the food purchase decision process of Ecuadorian millennials.
