dc.descriptionThe study of liturgical chant fragments has a well established historiographical tradition. However, in Latin America few scholarly contributions have been focused on this type of written sources, being almost nonexistent in Chile. Thus, this paper makes a innovative review on the studies on fragments of Gregorian chant in the country to subsequently locate, identify and describe the findings. Despite the limited sample found, we will offer some significant results and conclusions.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl estudio de los fragmentos litúrgico-musicales es una línea de investigación propia que cuenta con una larga tradición historiográfica. Sin embargo, en América Latina apenas hay contribuciones académicas que hayan centrado sus esfuerzos prioritariamente en este tipo de fuentes escritas, siendo casi inexistentes en Chile. De este modo, este trabajo realiza una pionera revisión acerca del estado de los estudios de fragmentos de canto gregoriano en el país para, posteriormente, localizar, identificar y describir los hallazgos encontrados. A pesar de la escasa muestra hallada, ofreceremos algunos resultados y conclusiones que esperamos sean significativos.es_ES
