| dc.description | This study examines the relationship between psychological well-being and burnout among healthcare psychologists in Spain, considering socio-occupational variables such as personal therapy and clinical supervision. A quantitative, cross-sectional, ex post facto study was conducted with a sample of 60 clinical psychologists and general healthcare psychologists. Participants completed the PERMA-Profiler, the MBI-HSS, and an ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire. Descriptive analyses, reliability analyses using Cronbach’s alpha, and nonparametric tests (Spearman’s rho and Mann-Whitney U) were conducted after assumptions of normality were not met. Results showed high levels of psychological well-being and low to moderate burnout levels. Overall well-being was negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion and positively correlated with personal accomplishment. No significant associations were found with depersonalization, personal therapy, or clinical supervision. Findings highlight the relevance of psychological well-being as a factor associated with the prevention of professional burnout among healthcare psychologists. | |
