| dc.description | The participation of older persons in society is a factor in active ageing that affects and improves the quality of life of older persons (WHO, 2002). In turn, the neighborhood is configured as a community where its shops function as socializing agents. For this reason, Participatory Community Social Work is formulated as a good tool to encourage an active neighborhood movement that promotes social relations. The Socializing in the Area Trade Project brings together all these elements, was created with the aim of creating a community network for the socialization of older people who use the commerce of the Elitxu-Lapitze district of Irun. Through participatory Community Social Work, it aims to take advantage of the catalytic characteristic of social relations of the neighborhood commerce, to detect situations of risk of social isolation of the older population of the neighborhood and accompany them in the unelected loneliness. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La participación en la sociedad de las personas adultas mayores es un factor del envejecimiento activo que incide en la calidad de vida de este colectivo, mejorándola (OMS, 2002). A su vez, el barrio se configura como una comunidad donde sus comercios funcionan como agentes socializadores. Por ello, el Trabajo Social Comunitario participativo se formula como una buena herramienta para incentivar un movimiento vecinal activo que promocione las relaciones sociales. El Proyecto Socializando en el Comercio del Barrio aúna todos estos elementos, nace con el objetivo de crear una red comunitaria para la socialización de personas adultas mayores usuarias del comercio del barrio de Elitxu-Lapitze de Irún. A través de un Trabajo Social Comunitario participativo, pretende beneficiarse de la característica catalizadora de relaciones sociales del comercio del barrio, para detectar situaciones de riesgo de aislamiento social de la población adulta mayor del barrio y acompañarles en la soledad no elegida. | es_ES |
