The Government of Colombia, with the purpose of complying with a just energy transition model with the commitment to low-emission hydrogen (green and blue), in its roadmap sets goals for the years 2030 and 2050, for supply and for demand, situating in the long term the export of the energy vector. However, based on the analysis of the current regulatory instruments of the natural gas sector, its importation and exportation may have to be enabled in the short and medium term, in order to accelerate the growth of domestic demand, although the national transportation system (NTS) could presents greater technical and economic challenges than the international interconnection system and exclusive connection.
