Resumen
This chapter examines the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on organizational culture and trade unionism in Spain, addressing both challenges and opportunities. From a multidimensional perspective, it explores automation's effects on labor dynamics, hierarchical restructuring, and the need for new skills. A strategic approach is proposed, where unions take a proactive leadership role by promoting continuous training, professional reskilling, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, well-being, innovation, and sustainability. Moreover, the chapter underscores the importance of ethical AI governance, ensuring adherence to principles of equality, fairness, and inclusion. Finally, the study highlights the critical role of unions as strategic advisors and ethical mediators in corporate transformation, positioning them as essential actors in shaping a more cohesive, versatile, and resilient labor landscape.
