El presente trabajo, parte de una metodología teórico-dogmática, exponiendo los
distintos medios alternativos de resolución de conflictos y las diferencias entre ellos
así como con respecto al proceso jurisdiccional, para después centrarse en el
análisis de la mediación en sus distintos ámbitos, evaluando desde un enfoque
jurídico descriptivo y propositivo, sus ventajas e inconvenientes, lagunas y límites
como medio auto compositivo y extrajudicial de resolución de conflictos.

This paper, part of a theoretical-dogmatic methodology, exposing the various
alternative means of conflict resolution and the differences between them as well as
with respect to the jurisdictional process, and then focusing on the analysis of the
Mediation in its different fields, evaluating from a descriptive and propositive legal
approach, its advantages and drawbacks, gaps and limits as a self-compositional
and extrajudicial conflict resolution.
