Orden y complejidad en las expresiones algebraicas: un estudio de la percepción estética de la matemática

Tras comentar brevemente la doble relación entre matemática y estética, se describen los resultados de un estudio sobre la percepción estética de expresiones aritméticas realizado con alumnos universitarios no expertos en matemáticas.
Se analiza especialmente la influencia de factores como “orden” y “complejidad” en las preferencias de los alumnos, así como el papel distorsionador ejercido por la afectividad.
