This master’s thesis proposes the design of workshops in secondary schools to promote reading among students in the first and second years of ESO. The aim is to support the teaching load of language and literature teachers by helping them to awaken an interest in reading in the new generations. The aim is to promote the pleasure of reading based on the curiosity and concerns of adolescents, thus avoiding the rejection that reading tends to generate when they feel obliged to do so. The following pages present a line of actions to accompany reading - within the school timetable - through activities, dynamics and digital resources. It also seeks to work on and strengthen reading comprehension, spelling and communication skills to achieve a critical society that can fight against misinformation and hoaxes, which are so present in our daily lives.
