Este estudio presenta la gamificación como estrategia didáctica para potenciar la motivación en la enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera (ELE) dirigida a inmigrantes en nivel A1. Se propone una secuencia didáctica enfocada en la adquisición del léxico elemental, basada en contextos comunicativos funcionales vinculados a situaciones cotidianas.
La propuesta, fundamentada en el enfoque comunicativo, integra elementos lúdicos y diversas herramientas para el desarrollo de las actividades, tanto digitales (TICs) como analógicas, diseñadas para un aula inclusiva y accesible. La motivación se considera un aspecto central, ya que las dinámicas de juego facilitan el interés y la participación activa del alumnado. La secuencia está adaptada a las características específicas del alumnado inmigrante, atendiendo a su diversidad lingüística y la necesidad de aprender vocabulario funcional de manera estructurada, contextualizada y progresiva.

This study presents gamification as a teaching strategy to enhance motivation in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) to immigrants at level A1. A teaching sequence is proposed, focusing on the acquisition of basic vocabulary, based on functional communicative contexts linked to everyday situations.
The proposal, grounded in a communicative approach, integrates gamified elements and various tools for the development of activities, both digital (ICTs) and analog, designed for an inclusive and accessible classroom. Motivation is considered a central aspect, as game dynamics facilitate student interest and active participation. The sequence is adapted to the specific characteristics of immigrant students, taking into account their linguistic diversity and the need to learn functional vocabulary in a structured, contextualized, and progressive manner.
