Music Therapy addressed to Music Students in conservatories is very rare in Spain. Despite
the scientific evidence supporting the benefits of Music Therapy in various contexts, there is
a notable absence of Music Therapy programs addressed to Music Students in Spanish
conservatories, which represents a significant gap in the current musical training. In this
context, the recent implementation of the specialty of Flamenco Singing in the official
education in music conservatories, generates situations that difficult its integration in the
educational system. The implementation of Music Therapy programs aimed at Music
Students in conservatories yields positive results in terms of the perception of the benefits of
the students themselves. The systematic review was carried out following the steps of the
Prisma 2020 protocol for the searching of ten databases and academic platforms. A total of
two such studies were found in Spanish conservatories, one of which included a Flamenco
Singing student.
