The Master's Thesis document investigates the impact of depression on memory in a sample of 19 individuals, focusing on working memory, visual memory and auditory memory. The results revealed significant differences in auditory memory between people with depression and those without depression, with the control group performing better. No significant differences were found in visual memory or working memory between the two groups. The study highlights the need for future research to consider sociodemographic variables and the influence of neurological diseases on memory and depression. The findings provide a basis for integrating neuropsychology and clinical psychology to develop comprehensive interventions for individuals with depression.
