Although the current binding does not correspond to the original, it was crafted in the monastery during the 17th century. On folio 309v, the two-voice sequence Benedicta es celorum reginais copied, which until now had only been mentioned in catalogues. This article proposes a comprehensive study of the sequence, addressing both its musical and textual content, as well as its integration into the bibliographic collection of the Monastery of El Escorial.
