This Master's Final Project consists of an unimplemented proposal. Its objective is to design a
character education program aimed at students of 3rd Primary Education. The desire is that it
integrates civic virtues that favor coexistence and participation in children with the support of
the family's participation. To achieve this, a literature review has been conducted to establish
theoretical foundations that provide a basis and structure for the program. In this way, we will
work on the term of civic character and on the specific virtues that will make up the program
(solidarity, commitment and tolerance). This is important to continue with various strategies
(dynamic break, service-learning, cooperative learning, narratives, role-playing, and ephemeris’
celebration and participation in local traditions). They can be useful in terms of civic character
at the level of the center, classroom and family.
The program proposes the development of twenty sessions for students and ten sessions for
families. Its purpose is to involve families and work together in the formation of the civic
character of their children.
