Resumen:
Este Trabajo Fin de Estudios supone la evaluación de riesgos higiénicos y ergonómicos durante
la reparación de infraestructuras comunes de telecomunicación (ICT) de la empresa Fibre &
Wireless Ltd.
En particular, se identifican y valoran los riesgos por exposición al ruido y a la manipulación
manual de cargas (MMC) durante la jornada laboral.
En cuanto a la exposición al ruido, aplicando la Norma UNE-EN ISO 9612:2009, los resultados
confirman lo que una evaluación sensorial previa había adelantado, los niveles de ruido a los
que los trabajadores están expuestos superan los límites para los que es necesario tomar
acciones preventivas.
En cuanto a la manipulación manual de cargas, la aplicación del modelo de etapas contenidas
en el documento técnico ISO – TR 12295:2014, determina como aceptables las condiciones
para la manipulación de cargas por repetición e identifica situaciones críticas puntuales en el
levantamiento y transporte de cargas de algunas tareas. Posteriormente, las evaluaciones
específicas contenidas en las Normas ISO 11228.1:2021 e ISO 11228-2: 2007, llegan a calificar
el nivel de exposición como muy alto, debiéndose proporcionar por tanto una serie de
acciones correctivas inmediatas para la eliminación o mitigación de las principales fuentes de
riesgo.

This Masters dissertation involves the assessment for hygienic and ergonomic risks in the
repair activities of the telecommunications physical infrastructure access (PIA) of the company
Fiber & Wireless Ltd.
In particular, risks due to noise exposure and manual handling of loads during the working day
are identified and assessed.
Regarding noise exposure, applying the UNE-EN ISO 9612:2009 Standard, the results confirm
what a previous sensorial assessment had anticipated, the noise levels to which the workers
are exposed exceed the limits which it is necessary take preventive actions.
Regarding the manual handling of loads, the application of the model of stages contained in
the technical document ISO - TR 12295: 2014, determines as acceptable the conditions for the
repetitive handling of loads and identifies specific critical situations in the manual lifting and
transport in some of the tasks. Subsequently, the specific evaluations in the ISO 11228.1: 2021
and ISO 11228-2: 2007 Standards, came to assess the level of exposure as very high, therefore
a series of immediate corrective actions must be provided for the elimination or mitigation of
the main hazard sources.
